Fussigny’s XO is a Grande and Petite Champagne blended cognac. It consists of at least 50% Grande Champagne eau-de-vie. A. de Fussigny’s distilling methods are traditional. The humid cellars of A. de Fussigny are ideal for aging cognac, as they are situated by the banks of the river of Charente, in the cognac region. This kind of storage enhances aromas to where they are supposed to be, giving this cognac a fine and exquisite taste. Like all other Fussigny Cognacs, the A. de Fussigny XO Fine Champagne is aged either in Tronconnais casks or Limousin oak barrels.

Hennessy Paradis Cognac

Submitted by on May 10, 2013 – 6:13 pmNo Comment

“Straight from Paradise”

An excellent Cognac, as you’d expect from Hennessy. Presented in a delightful decanter, this is a blend of over 100 different eaux-de-vie, the oldest dating back to 1880.

This Hennessy Paradis Cognac is gold winner of the 2010 World Spirits Competition and Double Gold of the 2012 World Spirits Competition.

Hennessy Paradis was created in 1979 by Maurice Fillioux. He chose to blend “eaux-e-vie” which had been selected by his grandfather. Today, Yann Fillioux, the 7th generation from his family to be Master Blender at Hennessy, stores aside “eaux-de-vie” which might be used by his successors. This continutiy over generations ensures the unrivalled greatness of our cognacs; and especially of Paradis.
